Would you cover your car in Miller Lite Decals

So my boss mentioned the idea of him paying me 130 bucks a month for 18 months to have one of our sponsors completely decal my vehicle.

Would you do this to your runner for 130 a month?

Are you still making payments? If so, I would have him cover your payments. Otherwise, typical vehicle allowance is either $500 - $750/month. Since you are essentially turning your car into a "work" vehicle, that's what it would take for me to agree.

If they are doing a full wrap, does it rain a lot where you are? It can be difficult to see out of the windows when it rains. The small holes in the perforated vinyl they use on the windows will fill with water, rendering them complete useless. Sometimes they will use a clear laminate over the perf vinyl which helps in the rain but is less clear to see out of during normal use.

One benefit is that you can write off all of your mileage at the end of the year. I believe that is 56.5 cent a mile now.

It's a shame you have a 2006 because there is a company called Wrapify that you could make that in a week depending on your average daily mileage. But you have to have a 2008 or newer car. You could still use the calculator on their home page to negotiate for more though.

Whether or not you like miller lite, its a great way to put some money in your pocket. For the 18 months, that's $2340 you would not have had otherwise. I say go for it

no to decals and no to 130. I'd do a full wrap and that'll give you some paint protection for 18 months and I'd at least have to have 300 a month with a few more incentives

A lot of solid feedback. If this situation does come about, I will have a much better idea of what id like in return if I agree.

Also it wouldn't be decals. it would be a complete wrap. and it would be miller lite.

Maybe I could get a new tires and a suspension out of the deal!

I'd want closer to $600 a month for that. That's way less than one billboard for four weeks. I like the way my car looks as is. There's no incentive to make it hideous if I'm only getting $130 a month.
