Why were they selling such a clean vehicle? I would have bought that vehicle in a heartbeat.

I have the 231 mm Tundra brake upgrade on mine, it has saved my life more than once; a huge elk ran in front of me while going 65 MPH towing 2 ATVs at night for example, and I'm confident that with original calipers, I would have hit it. That was really scary.

I'll never look back after the upgrade, well worth the money spent ($100 for calipers, rotors and pads out of a 05' Tundra V8 with 30K miles).

Also agree that changing the timing belt/water pump should be the first thing. Tons of info on changing it yourself in the forum.

$3500 is a great deal. If you haven't already been involved in offroading . . . you really don't understand just how good a deal you got. These trucks are incredible right off the show room floor. For $3500: you got a comfortable, dependable, extremely capable vehicle that will last you continued years of service.

I haven't had her off road yet, I am waiting until I get some more of the PMCS done so I can reduce the risk of breaking some original drivetrain or suspension parts.

I think this is the only forum that I have been involved in where everyone seems to get along, and treat new members like they'd like to be treated!

I am going antelope hunting in Wyoming in October so she'll be off-road a lot then !!
