Nice! I was thinking of doing this anyway (did some of it on my last truck) and this makes it so much simpler!

I'm curious about slots #8 and #13, when it says "blank", does that mean there's no light and no message in that slot, or just no light? I'm thinking I could put a low fluid light indicator there for injection, or something like that...

Bumping this thread because I am looking at doing the LED conversion but can't find any size 24 bulbs anywhere for gauges. Is there another size that would work?

Hey guys I ordered some bulbs from Autolumination.com and when I received the bulbs they look nothing like what they showed in the pictures. This is what they sent me

I used the ones from SuperBrightLED and they're plenty bright for the dash. Those don't look like they're going to fit by the way the base looks. Those look more like #74 bulbs to me, but it could also just be the picture. If they're #74's those are what you'll use for the blinker bulbs on the dash, and those are going to blind you. I'm using the #74 3 SMD bulbs from SuperBrightLED and I'm thinking about swapping them out for something a little less bright.

These are for the 3 #24 bulbs in your dash. I have a 2000 limited so your 99 should be the same. Not sure what color you want. I used the white because I don't like the way the other color LEDs wash out the other background colors in the dash display. These are the high powered ones and I find them plenty bright. You can pick from the other colors on that page.

You should look through the rest of the information. A quick reference to the chart I posted on the 2nd page would answer this question.

I did that's why I said at the beginning of the thread meaning the chart. So the #24 is the correct size then.

The chart says #24, and the chart don't lie. Three of your bulbs look to have thicker bases, so they might work.

Well guys I put the LEDs in the cluster and hvac but only the hvac ones work so now I'm stumped. It start raining so I can't do anymore till tomorrow

#24 is the correct size. I wrote #74 but the link is to the #24 bulb. Edited post. Sorry Phd. Stupid question but did you turn them 180 degrees? Do the highlanders have the auto climate control?

Ya I turned them till I couldn't anymore. No they have regular hvac controls like the sr5
