WTB 2014/2015 SR5 with 3rd row

Am I crazy to think it can be done for 25,000 or less for a clean one? It seems like every one around here is listed for 22-25 but then the dealers have half a dozen fee's that bring the price close to 30.

I'm looking to buy either a 2014 or 2015 with the third row. Colors could be either White, silver, grey. I live in south Florida so 4wd would be awesome but not required.

7k to 3k in dealer fees. Yes you are being screwed. 3rd row is a pain though. Seems like most are special ordered and when they are the owner usually holds on to them.

Tell me about it...I was at a Toyota dealer an hour south a month ago to look at a very nice white 2014 SR5 with 35,xxx miles and they wanted 22,900. Took it for a test drive and it was perfect. We go in to "work out the numbers" and it came out to 29,980 :der:
While sitting there we could hear a salesman in the other cube say to someone "Our prices are low but not our fees"

I told the salesman no way in hell so he went to talk to his manager. Came back and said "The boss wants to know how much you'd like to pay" So I said tell your boss 15,000 OTD

Five mins go by and the boss comes over himself "to see how I came to my number" I told him...You ask a stupid question, you get a stupid answer.

It was clear they didn't want to deal especially since I wasn't financing and they wouldn't be able to make some extra money on the back end. There are only two dealerships by me that are somewhat decent but they never have a 3rd row truck in stock. :frusty:

Yep, seems like you're a bit optimistic on pricing. I'd look at this one and give up on 3rd row:

I know its a long stretch, and thank you for that link. Thats a beautiful truck but I'm just looking for the newer front end mostly. There was a black one that fit the bill perfectly with a perfect carfax and maintenance history but it was black. We just bought the wife a new black Mazda CX-5 in December and the car is like an oven on the inside here in Florida.

I can say, though, that Audi of West Palm was night and day different than Toyota on how they handled the situation. We ended up just stopping in to see what they had and within 20 mins they had the out the door price on the 4Runner and carfax in my hand. The price was only 800 above the internet price too. Man how much I wish it was a different color.

Do a search for all that Carmax has. I searched too and couldn't find a 2014 or newer under $29k

Yes. Have you read a few pages of this thread?

What sort of "fees" add $5K? You do know tax is not a dealer fee, right?

That does seem like outrageous add on fees and I completely understand wanting the newer front end. All of the cars that fit your specs in my area are $30K+.

I was in the same boat...settled on a 2013 with 3rd row seat and 67,000 miles for $23,000. It was also a toyota certified vehicle. Good luck in your search.

I know tax isn't a fee (I do the math on the tax before I show up to the dealership). I've seen everything at the Toyota dealerships around me from the usual "dealer fee" which seems right at 800 to reconditioning fees 800, nitrogen fees 800, prep fee 500 ....the list goes on.
