You might want to do some more research. The 06 vvti v8 engine is rated one mpg less than the v6 but historically most v8 owners will tell you that this v8 actually does better than the v6 of the same years. I have seen as good as 22 mpg on a hwy tank.

I am also looking for a 4x4 less than 140k mile v6 3rd or 4th gen in California. I don't want to deal with the hassle of buying and registering an out of state vehicle. I have missed out on a couple in great shape low miles lately. Seems like you have to buy really quick with all cash in hand or it will be sold fast to the next buyer. That's if the seller replies to you.

I have a full built v8 4th gen with 89k miles just bought brand new xd wheels and toyo open country's looking for 14-15k with the new wheels the rig has gone across the rubicon twice check out my post
