WTB: 3rd Gen Dorado Gold Sport Hood

As the title says, I’m looking for a sport hood for my 2001 Dorado Gold 4runner. I’m located in New Mexico. I’m pretty sure they made them but someone can correct me if they didn’t. I’ll attach a pic of the rig it will be going on.

They were only made in:
Black
Imperial Jade mica
Thundercloud metallic

I was just about to confirm this as well. US Sports never came in Dorado Gold. ... only in Japan bcuz the diesel option had a functional hood scoop with a top mount intercooler.

took a few photos from the brochure. KG4 is the dorado gold color combo

Toyota Scoop - $150
Shop paint job - $400-$800

They didnt make Desert Desert Dune Sport Hoods either. :happy:

Im gunna go with a guess that its aftermarket. for one it isn't a sport runner and I'm positive you couldn't get it as a dealer option. you'll have to do investigating and contact the owner. i don't see any rock chips that match the other pieces of the front end (headlight filler, grill) so I'm guessing its resprayed. ask for the vin on the hood and check if its stamped toyota. I'm curious lol.

all 96-02 hoods are inter-changable.

From the pic it doesn't look like it. Maybe he meant the inside portion of the scoop.
