Hey everyone,
I have spent the last 5 months digging through every used car site, Craigslist, and spotting local for sale ads.
With that being said, i'm not seeing a whole lot of winners
out:
I am looking for the following, and hopefully the one i'm searching for will turn up here.
Year: 1999 - 2002 4Runner
Trim: Sport/Highlander/Limited (MUST HAVE HOOD SCOOP)
Mileage: 145K or less
Drivetrain: 4WD only, 5spd is a HUGE plus!! RR Diff Lock also a HUGE plus!!
Color: Black, Silver (all), Jade (in order of preference)
Condition: Interior: I expect the interior to be free of rips, tears, major stains.
However, not a deal killer depending on severity.
Exterior: No dings, dents, or holes (??)
Minor scratches ok
Undercarriage: Rust is an issue here in IL. I'm not going to be a
stickler. However.... it should be manageable. No
rust through frames, no diff's with rusted over
drain plugs that I can't open, etc...
All in all, i'm looking for that needle in a haystack that everyone else has passed over. :naughty:
