WTB - Mint 3rd Gen (96-98) Frame- 6cyl/3.4

So as I posted in another thread, my frame is toast. I would like to find a rust free frame that only needs a little work with a steel brush before I submerge it in POR-15.

I live in Northern Vermont, so I am somewhat limited in the radius I could travel to pick up a frame. Ideally I would like to find one from the west/southestern US and find someone to ship it for me (I do realize that this would be costly). I don't mind paying for a premium frame, but it needs to be in really great condition. I will do my darndest to rustproof and paint it, but they use some pretty corrosive road salts up here so ultimately it is only a matter of time and I want to be sure my new frame will last as long as possible.

Might want to specify 4x4. 4x2 frames are different (crossmember location).

Is it that hard to find something you're asking for in your state?

Cars here in the West Coast are usually rust free.

Unfortunately yes, the New England states use some of the most corrosive road salts known to man. Vehicles just get eaten in five or ten winters.

I'm from the Midwest and i understand how bad that road salt is. Good luck man.
