I have a 2012 SR5 just reached 5,000 miles. The dealer I bought from put the oil change sticker in the top of the window. They'd change it at 5,000 miles even though most say 10,000 because of the synthetic. Problem is the dealer I bought it from is 2 1/2 hours away. I was planning on using a dealer who is only and hour away.
Called them up to ask them if they'd change the oil. Service guy says sure bring it in. So yesterday I show up and guy says ok we'll get it in and do the service. Asked me if I wanted my tires rotated. I have Coopers on there and told him DO NOT rotate the tires, just check the pressure. Guy says ok. An hour later its done. I look at the paper work and it shows they did not change the oil (no surprise) and they DID rotate the tires. I said whatever and left. Get going down the road and now my steering wheel is bouncing. Go around a corner and hear a major rub noise. So I pull over and get out. The dip****s moved my running boards so far forward the tires were rubbing the edges every time I turned.
I was pissed. Drove back to the dealer, told the service guy they f'd up my running boards and now my tires are way out of balance. I said you didn't do what I came for (oil change), and you did what I told you not to. So he takes it back to the techs and 20 minutes later brings it back out. Running boards haven't been moved back. Now I was fuming.....Found the manager and told him what a POS service department he has and to fix the damn boards.
I wont name the dealer, but its the only one in Flagstaff.....FREAKIN MORONS. I will never go back again.
