Been working on 05 V8 this weekend and got around to changing plugs on passenger side which requires(or makes it 100x easier) removal of the air box. I normally just clean or change my air filter and haven't disected the box but when I took it off and had it in hand I see what looks to be a supplemental filter that looks to be plastic rivited/welded to the top of the air box housing. Pretty dirty. Has part number 17812-50020 stamped on it. toyodiy website came back with nothing on that number nor does it show this piece in an exploded view of the airbox housing. Is this thing needed? Anyone know purpose?
