WTF missing a part, Is it supposed to be like this???

So this is my Drivers side rear fender..

This is my passenger side..

Notice the driver side large piece of plastic that prevents mud from being collected and the lack of one on the Pax side..
Is everyone's like this or did I get one of them Friday builds??

Mine is like that also, and I agree, that side has a nice little pocket to hold extra mud.

I had the same reaction when I got home with my '10. Talked to the service guy at the dealer. He said they're all like that.

Hahahahaha! I was lost inside that photo for at least 5 seconds; glad he resized them.

Yup, I've got the mud catchers as well. If I don't wash the Texas clay out ASAP it turns rock freakin' hard and has to be removed by hand.

This is on the rear correct? If so it's because the gas tank filler neck is there. It's a cover to protect the filler neck from flying rocks and other debris.

Yup went to the dealer and crawled under a couple o new 4runners.. all are the same.. Now that you mentioned the fuel filler that makes alot of sense..
