Ok I don't get it. 05 4runner. I have a paved driveway which is a hill. Yesterday we had several inches of snow. I came home and daughter car parked at bottom of driveway. I started to back down and started to slide so I decided I should park on street and plow driveway first. I had Hi-4 on. I could not get back up the hill. Tried Lo-4, nope. All I got was that damn clicking clacking sound and could not go up hill. Had to back around into my yard. Now I am stuck in my yard in 4 wheel drive, level ground and still clacking only. Had to rock the thing to get out. WTF! Went to dealer and they told me this is normal, because all 4 wheels were slipping so it put all 4 brakes on. Say what???? I will admit I forgot about the button for VSC (Vehicle Stability Control), but don't see what that has to do with it. I can't believe I have a 4 wheel drive vehicle that won't move by design is the wheels slip. Someone please tell me something. This seems ridiculous.
