XenonDepot LED Headlight bulbs in 06-09 projector housings

Got my HID headlights installed today in my 06-09 headlights with stock projectors and they look great. Used our Sienna with OEM HID lights to align on garage door. I did it by getting them the same distance from the garage, measured the headlight height difference at the vehicle, then applied the difference at the garage door. I adjusted the 4Runner headlights a little lower just to be safe.

The cut off was actually better than the Sienna.

Would a cop pull you over for blinding lights, even low-beams?

Ever since lift & tires I've been getting flashed at night by oncoming cars. Low beams & fogs on. The stock xreas obviously had a lot of rake and I imagine by leveling the stance, I inadvertently aimed my headlights too high. Honestly I love it because of the great visibility but I also know it sucks to be blinded by an oncoming car and I don't want to be a d***. I try to let the oncoming car see me change from brights -> low beams so they (hopefully) know. Doesn't always work, and new luxury cars these days have crazy intense high beams.

Adjust them down. 8mm wrench. Super easy.

Still best to go with HID or have any LED kits gotten close??

I would still suggest going with an HID kit for the best possible light output.

I still have to adjust mine, once in a great while I get somebody that high beams me... I have a side load garage and I don't have enough room to shoot against the garage door. I may try doing it with the door open and hang a sheet in front of some shelving I have.

Whats the proper distance again, 25 ft?

I have the space, but my driveway isn't level. I went behind the local mall and used their wall =)

if you are planning in changing out the projectors, then i would suggest TRS HID projectors that pop right in. then you can use OEM ballasts such as Denso or matsushita and D2S based philips bulbs.

remember, if you try to get a HID kit now to throw into your current projectors, the bulb base is NOT a D2S, therefore you will have to get rebased bulbs. when you decide to swap out the toyota halogen projector to a HID projector, you will have to drop another $70 on a set of D2S philips bulbs.

(EDIT: forgot to mention, your pigtails from the aftermarket ballast will be amp connectors, so if you would want to reuse the aftermarket ballasts with the D2S philips bulbs, you would also to get an amp to D2S adapter)

Was looking around the TRS site and couldn't find what you were mentioning. Which hid projectors are a direct swap?
