XM not working

I picked up my 2012 t4r on Monday of last week with JBL Navi and XM. When I picked it up my XM worked perfectly fine. This weekend it decided to stop working and hasn't been working since. It comes in and out, but stay on long enough for a song. On Saturday it was sunny with no clouds and still didn't work that well. Should I contact the dealer or are others having this issue?

Did you move a roof rack cross member close to the fin? I did once to tie a mattress to the roof and shortly after had issues with the reception coming in and out. As soon as I moved the rail a bit away it went back to working fine.

I don't have any cross members. It has been cloudy with rain the last 2 days and is pretty cloudy today so I still don't give a signal. Today it plays for about 10 seconds and then says No Signal and turns off.

The only issue I have is mountains. Certain places I travel will cause the "cutting in and out" you describe but not clouds or weather based on my observation. Generally when travelling in a southward direction and having a ridge on the west side of the road will do it. My location is southern appalachian mountains. To qualify my observation I have had XM in my vehicles since 2005. I have installed it also in my wife's workplace with a home unit. I am fairly familiar with XM.

I've had 0 issues out of mine, I'm in Dallas. It's been working just fine.

What's your latitude

I tried the Refresh and still a no go. I am taking to the dealer on Saturday to have them look at it. Hopefully it is solved then.

I had the same problem with my GMC Sierra, tried calling XM and they suggested refreshing it or sending it a new signal, non of it worked and the delaership eventually replaced the whole unit.
Good luck and keep us posted.

Dealership Appt.

I have an appointment at the dealership and they said they will fix it or might have to order a new NAVI for my truck. Hopefully it is fixed tomorrow, getting pretty pissed off about it because I use it a lot and have an account.

You should call XM also and have them pro rate the days you have not had reception. They are pretty good at that.
