I'm new to the whole Toyota 4Runner thing so bare with me if I say something stupid or don't know what I am talking about haha.
Some background in vehicles I use to own. I grew up in Southern California near the desert so I built desert trucks with full long travel and some fully caged. However, I just recently moved to Utah last year and found out LT didn't really have a place here and that is why I bought a 4Runner to explore new things and have fun in the snow.
Here is the last Vehicle I owned. Camburg LT up front and Linked in the rear.
Now onto the 4Runner.
Bought a 2003 4Runner SR5 4wd
Short term plans
Front Prerunner style bumper
Rock sliders
Wheels(Methods or Walkers) tires 35s either Toyos or Nittos
Rock sliders
Long term
Maybe long travel if I don't build an F150
Lighting
Rear tire carrier
Paint cladding
This is how it came stock. Has zero rust which is really hard to find here in northern Utah
First thing I did was ditch the running boards and mud flaps
The day I bought the 4Runner I put an order in for my suspension.got it in less then a week thanks to wheeler off-road. Was planning on running Kings but I didn't want to wait the 8 week lead time so decided on fox since I had them on one of my old trucks. Got the extended travel to make it easier to go to long travel. Also got the total chaos upper arm. For the rear I got Icon 2 inch springs and fox shocks in the rear.
Got everything all that day the suspension arrived.
The red dirt all over the place is red clay from Moab from the previous owner
Welcome to my new money pit lol
