I know you probably lost some bottom end torque on this, but curious on how you feel the power band changed. Also fuel economy, I know these are iron pigs but be nice to get back even 10ish%:hungry:
I installed the URD Y-Pipe this weekend. Here are some pics and few notes:
Use Areokroil on everything
Remove the O2 sensors first, use the correct tool
Remove the silver hoop
Hold up the muffler with a stand
Loosely conect the front two flanges, loosely!
Use a couple wooden dowls to align the rear/muffler flange
Test fit the muffler flange with out the springs
Push up and down hard to get URD flange and Muffler flange to align
The gaskets are soft
Put front gaskets in late or they will get damaged. There is room to slide them in and get the correctly seated and the end of the job
Last step is reinstall O2 sensors
I have the stock muffler. I noticed no change in sound and a noticeable performance increase.
