You know you drive a t4r when?

When you find yourself checking out every 4Runner you come across on the road or parking lot. Even if you seen an old beat up 1st gen and think, dang, that's one good lookin' rig.

When you go to the dealer and at least 3 salesmen flock to your rig saying "THAT'S what these trucks should look like!" and asking you 100 questions, when all you wanted was to get your oil changed

When doing maintenance on your engine and you realize it was built and designed by left handed midget contortionists.

Oh my god yes!

Just did this today. I followed a 5th gen Limited all over the base.

When you drive a vehicle they don't have in Europe and all the Europeans stare at your truck in confusion and admiration. I love pulling up next to a BMW/Porshe/Benz and the occupants just stare at my truck!:clap2:

When the odometer reading is just an indication of how far you've been not how far you have left to go...

When you go to sell it and advertise your 190K mile one as 'low mileage" and "mint".

...and you're NOT lying!

When you know you can justify your rigs capabilities as a "Grocery Getter". If by grocery you mean in all weather, all road conditions, hunting vehicle, and the best dog friendly car(they love the rear window) then yes. Let's see your minivan do that. . .

You know you drive a 4Runner when you're dropped off by your parents everywhere because your 4Runner is at home leaking fluid all over the place.

Used this in the 3rd Gen Section.

- When you refuse to drive your other 2 vehicles that get twice the gas mileage just because your T4R is more fun.

When other 3rd Gen owners come an hour away to help when your rig is about to rolling down a hill and all they ask is for you pass it forward !

KCCO!

When you take your running boards off after a lift and can't get in.
When you are reading this.
When your friends and family know (almost) as you do about it, because it's all you talk about.

-when your dash beeps at you and the vehicle cuts your throttle control off because you've picked a wheel off the ground

-When you lose all brake and gas pedal controls on ice because traction control decided you were in an unsafe skid and must save you

-when you defend IFS arguing with jeep guys (even though you could only dream of a straight axle conversion)

-when you spend more time at work on t4r.org than you do on the work your paid for

:jaw drop: Could not have said it any better myself. I will add to it though. When you spend thousands on it and want to trade the ***** in.....Then you drive it after it is fixed and realize you just cant do it.

When you can smoke ricers and V6 Mustangs all day.

When you purposely hit large puddles on the side of the road.

When people look at you like you're crazy when you say you're "just going to ride around" during a bad snow storm.

...when you're asleep & have dreams of modding it. Then last night having a nightmare about my new LCA skids falling off while offroading!
