Toyota should have notified all of us about this tsb. Now mine goes out on me after my warranty expired. :rockthrow:

I found out about this technical glitch after a cold winter's day when I was getting no heat coming into the cabin. Did a google search and found out about this little-known TSB.
I had just recently purchased my T4R (used) through a local Toyota dealership, and even though I was well past the warranty time/mileage limit, they made the repair at no charge to me. Good customer service!

I know the guys at my Toyota Dealership but I know that they won't give any "complimentary service". Instead I found a better solution to having it fixed.
Brought the 4Runner to my Lexus dealership instead. Not only was the diagnostic charge CHEAPER than my Toyota dealership, but I get a free Lexus loaner too :lmao::driving:
