Did the passenger side first and ended up with a gap so i made sure to take by time on the drivers side. Happy with how it turned out! At least on the LH Side lol

The fan bracket bearing finally went bad (316,xxx miles). Easy enough to pull out even though I have a dislike/dislike relationship with the power steering adjuster. Removed 10 fasteners, ps and alt belt, fan clutch/fan. The two pulleys come off after removing the fan clutch.
Toyota sells it as a set with pulleys and fan clutch for a millions of dollars so I've ordered an Aisin FBT004.
It's a little tight in there with the dual battery box and relocated coolant overflow bottle, but not too bad with the skid off for another project.

Not today but I have a list to do this weekend:
- Get the glove box opened (I managed to lock it and now I can't unlock it)
- Touch up the spray paint on the side mirrors
- Attach the clamp for my antenna
- put the roof rack back on
- figure out why the bottom section of the rear seats gets stuck really bad when I need to put the seats down lol
- perhaps spray paint the bumpers to cover up the chrome

Well, you had to get her into shape and fix all the previous neglect. Sounds pretty much like the real life women I seem to find myself attracted to.

Replaced the alternator brushes. There wasn't a 'rebuilt' 'refurbished' sticker in sight on the alternator....'Toyota' 'Denso'. 267k miles...replaced with oem brushes. Expect another 250k miles. If I knew how to upload pics of the old/new I would. FYI...not sure where I read it, but if you're have alternator issues (the alternator light illuminates on the dash), if you lightly hit the front of the alternator housing with a hammer and the light goes off, the brushes are the issue. Fairly easy to replace.
