New Part numper for (cheaper) OEM radiators+condensers

16410-AZ011 is replacing 16400-75180 for our OEM Toyota radiator part number - true list on this new unit is $163.15.

88460-AZ011 replaced 88461-35050 for the OEM Toyota condenser - true list is $121.98.

I've been thinking about replacing the rad on my T4R...even though it has barely over 97K miles it is almost 20 years old.

Lately I've been noticing a smell of hot antifreeze although I cannot see any leaks. The coolant reservoir is low however so it is leaking somewhere. Hoses are new and tight as is the cap.

And now with a lower price I might just as well go ahead and replace it before it gets hot again.

I assume that with the B&W trans oil cooler there should not be any possibility of the "pink milshake" no?

I did bypass the rad completely when I installed the oil cooler.

Don't get too excited everyone. It appears the new less expensive Toyota radiator is actually the Denso radiator that has previously been available.

LMAO. The Taiwan Denso stuff doesn't even come close to the real stuff. You can buy this on Amazon. Not bad, but not the best.

Only benefit I can see with going thru your dealer would be if there was a warranty issue. Assume it would be easier dealing with local dealer versus Amazon or other retailers.

Bought mine 2 years ago on Amazon. First one $100. The over flow neck was busted. Told them about it. They sent me another one for free. Second one was great. Still working in Arizona 116 F summer driving in the desert. Now in Vermont in the 0 F winter. No issues.
