I am curious about this too.

Diode Dynamics SS3 “Sport” fogs. Easy replacement. Built great, look great. Really happy with them.

I have stock fogs with with the lamin x yellow and the output is fine. So with LEDS I’m sure it won’t affect it at all.

I have LED fog bulbs with the laminx yellow and have no issues.
To the OP, I'd suggest to start with the laminx unless you really need more light output and want to replace the unit itself or just the bulbs.

I have no way of quantifying it objectively, but from behind the wheel I'd say no. Those Tundra OEM's are a super easy plug and play replacement and are really bright, but in a very focused horizontal band with distinct cut off. I put yellow film on there originally and it shone through so brightly that you couldn't even really tell they were yellow. The amber film laminx is thicker and darker and I like the look much better when they are off and it I believe it visually cuts glare in fog/snow when on, which is what they are intended to do.

Do the OEM LED fogs have a replaceable bulb? I'd like to use a yellow bulb instead of a film.

Tell me about the Tundra OEM fog lamp swap to the 4Runner. Does the Tundra lamp fit right in the 4R bezel or is there modification involved?

No modification required at all, it was a direct fit replacement on my '18. You will be blown away by how crappy the build quality of what comes stock on the 4Runner is compared to the LED upgrade.

BTW for Virginia folks be advised that only clear film can be placed on lights. I ran into this with Laminex on my T4R and could not pass state inspection until I removed it. And yes I had the inspector show me the requirement in the book, as I was highly skeptical.
