01 t4r no abs communication with scan tools???

I can't get in to the abs ecu to read the live data stream to see if infact my wheel speed sensors are the root cause of my inop speedo and cel po500.

Anyone else ever have this problem or is Toyota stingy with communicating to scan tools that are not oem?

As far as I know that's a techstream only kind of thing.

Try jumping the Tc and E1 in the small diagnosis box under your hood and count the number of blinks to get your code. If this doesn't work, check your OBD fuse in the engine bay.

I had a truck with and ABS light on and luckily it just turned out to be this fuse.

Use a multi-meter to check the resistance and voltage of the ABS/wheel speed sensor.

Ok I will try that tomorrow and report back with my findings, I just hope it's not the skid control module/brake booster under the hood

Ok I jumped those and nothing since I assume all the lights are on (trc,abs,cel,brake,vsc) the only thing that happened was the cruise and airbag light flashed fast I lost my leads for my multi meter so looking for a new set today yet.

Also all fuses were confirmed good.
