02 running build thread (pic heavy)

some things working on now.

getting the cbi new ditch light tabs and rigid leds for christmas.

aquired a 20lb co2 tank, also snagging a smittybuilt co2 system for about 100 bucks.

new lift the old lift from [MENTION=8883]LINY4Runner[/MENTION]

should be a good couple post coming soon just need to get home from school to start working on the new stuff.

a few updates recently acquired a zeus light bar from olympus offroad. its a 20inch combo light bar. picked it up from the classifieds and got a good deal on it. it came in the mail on wednesday and i recently getting home from college got a chance to install it. this thing is bright. over 9000 lumens i used an old wireing harness to wire it and it works great.

here it is unboxed. got it used so it has some color fading. but still looks and performs great.

overall im impressed and really like it.

next things to come is i got the CBI ditch lights in and want to install them but have to see if the mother will let me since they are my christmas presents.
along with those i got a pair of rigid duallys in spot pattern for the ditch lights. and the flood lights to use as fog lights. truck will be very bright here shortly.

also picked up a smittybilt co2 tank system for $100 it was a great deal. i had a chance to use it today took a minivans flat tire to full in 25 seconds. the rim was sitting on the ground. it was very impressive to see in person.

transformation... E-LOCKER!

over the last 4 weeks i have added alot of things to my rig. most of them small things but then there are a few bigger items that i did.
the first thing was i got a new radio, and kicker speakers all around. this was a well needed mod since i had blew 2 of my 4 speakers.

next i got rigid led duallys for christmas i got 2 sets. one set spot pattern, and one spot flood. these are amazing lights and put out alot of lighting looks amazing and i love it.

how the front of my truck looks now.

like i said these are small things i did. the next things i did were pretty big.
i found locally a 2000 4runner for parts. The best part of this was it was a limited with the E-LOCKER!!!:reddance:

since the locker was in a 4runner i decided to get the complete rear axle and front differential from the guy. included i also got the 2 front doors for half doors. and they also had tinted windows that i put on my truck.
so all together i got the complete rear axle with e-locker, the front differential, 2 doors with tinted windows, and a drive shaft for about $600.

the reason i got the complete rear axle and front diff was so i didnt need to modify my axle and since the locker was 4.30 gears, and i had 4.10 gears. this was the easiest route for me and i got a little more gearing.

the install took about 5 hours at my buddys shop we really took our time and made sure everything was done right. the only snag we hit was the front diff from the 2000 was vacuum actuated, and mine was electric. this was a easy fix we just swapped the actuator, 4 bolts and that was it.

this was a great accomplishment for me ive been looking and looking for e-lockers for a long time and this was one of the better deals i found.
cant wait to wheel with it.

so when i got my e-locker i didnt get any wiring so i ended going the route that alot of people went with and that was the 12voltguy. this wiring harness was excellent work. i love it. i wired it up pretty quickly and it came with a plate with locked rear etched in it.

i didnt bench test my e-locker before i got it but after installing the wireing harness i got some great news.

IT WORKS!!!

i was pretty happy that it worked i could hear it engage and disengage. it was music to my ears. i drove it around the block and i definitely knew it was working.
 
cbi ditch lights.

as stated above i installed the [MENTION=64712]CBI OffRoad Fab[/MENTION] ditch lights.
just my quick review

these ditch light brackets are pretty awesome. the install is very easy does take 2 people for one part of it. but pretty straight forward. the customer service was great they emailed me asking if i had any questions. the bracket itself is very sturdy and didnt throw off any of the body lines. i did have to push the hood down but it looks great.

OTRATTW lights

added some switches to replace the factory ones. got these 2 from OTRATTW. they look great and fit in the stock holes with little modification.

how they look when on. the fog lights light up green when the truck is on. and light red when on. the bumper lights up green when turned on.

New things in the works for the summer. Sport hood hope to have it by next friday! also working on half doors, and rear cargo box. stay tuned!
 
Cargo Box Build

today i spent most of the day building my rear cargo box. got the idea from gottabetrd box build thread.

got 1/2 inch boards had them cut to size which for me was 36inch wide 34 deep. the total height is 8.5 inches. drawers are 30inch deep buy 16 inches. here are some pics.

almost finished. just need to add some carpet and paint.

tomorrow i hope to have my doors cut for half doors.
