04 Option Availability and Keyless Question

Brand new 4Runner owner...

Picked up an '04 SR5 with only 36k miles this weekend.

Is there a page somewhere that lists all the possible options for my model?

Also, like many used cars, mine was sold without the fob.

How can I tell if I have the standard alarm/keyless entry, or an aftermarket model?

Next to the Trac Control bottom (another issue) is a red protruding LED that blicks after the car is locked. Is this the standard alarm?

If it is, I plan to buy a fob from Original Keyless.com

To find our if you have this, simply get your VIN number and call the dealer. Tell them your situation, no fob etc., and ask them if yours has it.

I just bought a 2005 Sport with no fob and so I called and they said that my 4R is fully equipped with keyless and all I have to do is purchase a $134.99 fob.

But even if it came with keyless originally, the PO may have been put something else in.

Is there a red LED that flashes located to the left of the wheel on anyone elses 04sr5?

That sounds like an aftermarket alarm.

All my aftermarket alarm...The Brain is located under the dash, the area above the gas & brake pedal.
