04 v6 2wd female built

Here we go....

Here's some back ground....
Ive been working on cars for awhile now and love it
off road rigs, slammed trucks, drag cars... etc
but now im venturing into something ive never do...
let my girlfriend make the decisions on her OWN 4runner...
Yes this is not my car... but my girlfriends car... this will be the first time she'll be ever working a car....
im transforming her to a gear head... and what better start than a 04 v6 2wd 4runner...

Goals

intake
exhaust
interior
Mild lift
decent tires
few body mods
some aesthetics....

This is what it looks like the day we bought it

So today we're starting to build our runner together... We bought tires, ordered our lift and got into powder coating....

So we bought some Hercules terra trac 2 285/70/17

2.5 lift int the front
3.0 lift in the rear...

And she found out what her color scheme would be

White, black, and Tiffany

We decided to paint the body white
Paint the rims black
And paint accent color Tiffany...
Couldn't be more excited

so heres the update... we powder coated the rims matte black, lifted it 2.5 in the front... and installed the new tires... and changed the brakes... looks great

no not at all feels fine... its just daystar spacers... didnt need to go all out yet

Awesome man, should be a fun project and awesome bonding experience for you two. Even 2wd runners need some love, but I can't help but be a little saddened. Personally, 4wd for me or I will keep looking. It is just the only way to go, if going for a truck like this.

sweet! Keep her going! Mine could care less, although I am getting her into the offroading scene pretty good. She is much more relaxed now and doesn't mind when I aimlessly wander off into the woods down some unknown trail.

Tiffany blue is a pretty color

I have the opposite problem, I LOVE this stuff and my husband could care less. Little by little I'm getting him into it. He we a few weeks ago on a trail run and a meet & greet....made me feel good when someone would ask him about his truck and he would say its not mine, its my wifes!!
