I really don't think it's proper to give personal hits to people who have or do not have lifts/mods like the personal bash on "bala2plata" IMO his truck is sweet and I can appreciate all the hard work done to it. It would not work good for me as a daily driver , but sure damn like the looks and bottom line it's his truck and it works for him. I would love to cruise around in it .

Okay, so after the debate dies down, I still have a question that was brought up earlier in the thread:
Does Muffin-Man have a point about the ARB bumpers? I don't think they would eliminate the crumple zones, simply because the crumple zone is far more than just the bumper, but if someone were to get in a head-on collision with an SUV equipped with one of these aftermarket offroad bumpers, would the driver be liable for the damage or injuries to the other parties involved?
In other words, if people get seriously injured (or dead!) in a head-on collision with an SUV equipped with an offroad front bumper, what could happen in a lawsuit? Something to think about....

Have they actually thuroughly tested the arb bumper on several 4runners or just crashed one into a wall as a test? Did they use dummies with sensors to detect trauma? I doubt this.
I could strap a 2 by 4 on my front end and claim thats crash test proven as well.
By replacing your bumper not only are you eliminating crumple zones, but there are also sensors for your airbag that detect collision, and you are altering those as well.

sorry... DEPUTY92's lift is what i was referring to....it is badass how it looks stock but still has the aggressive stance.... has anyone bought other things from Burtman are the spacer noisy?? do you need bushings at all to keep squeaky sounds away????
His truck only has a 1" front spacer lift. There are quite a few others who have done the 1" Cornfed lift .
I have one sitting on my desk , i need to install it !!! I already have the upsized tires so it will look good.
Maybe others will post their 1" front lift kits for you.

See my signature pic below? My 4Runner has a leveling lift also. It is not in any way noisy. It simply bolts in and raises the front end a bit to make it look more level with the rear. Great mod....worth every penny.

put some pictures up if you guys dont mind of you lifts before and after and if you have install pictures that would be cool too!! that front 1inch lift from burtman i think is the most classy way of lifting the t4r
