I picked up two Duralast re-manufactured 13WL calipers for $77.99 each ($40 core), leaving me with $44.02 left to hit the $200 mark.

I added 2 STP air filters (SA7626) and an air filter for my dad's suv and I just passed the $200 mark, yielding me a $70 gift card. Total came out to $316 with taxes, core charges. Shipping should be free for anything over $75. If you don't do any fillers, your cost should be around $236 plus tax with just $35 gift card.

Negating the gift cards and assuming I can get a refund for the core, that puts me down to $166 for the 2 calipers and 3 air filters.

Hopefully this is helpful. If Duralast calipers are garbage, I'd like to know.

After a good amount bit of research I found that any remanned calipers are just OEMs rebuilt with aftermarket pieces.
I went with Duralast because of a lifetime warranty through Autozone. Can't really beat that.

Yep, rebuilt oem calipers. Been running mine for several months. Just paint them or they rust. Install them, rough coat of black caliper paint and call it a day. Doesn't have to be super pretty, but keeps things looking much nicer.

You can get rotors, pads, and the clips on ebay for like $100 shipped. I forget exactly what I paid, but nice zinc coated S/D rotors, ceramic pads and clips were right at about $100 shipped and work excellent.

EDIT: I used similar to this, same seller, even cheaper then mine originally were. One year warranty too.

Yeah, I think its really hard to mess up a rebuild when these companies have an entire shop that just cycles through calipers every day. Thanks for reaffirming

Good call on the paint. I was on the fence about doing it but I'll definitely do them now.

Wow, that ebay brake pad/rotor set is incredibly cheap! I'll check it out. I was considering the brembo set which runs $155-$170. Might go oem. Might go stoptech because I'm a sucker for overbuilt stuff. Haven't decided as of yet.

I received stop tech rotors and pads with mine from same seller for $97 shipped. They have worked excellent and look new still. Save enough money buying those to get some ss brake lines while your at it.

I ordered on Saturday. Calipers shipped yesterday. I just got an email with my gift card.

This deal is good through April 30. You could order one caliper, fill it up to $100, get the $35 gc, then use that to buy the next caliper. If you fill that past $100, then you will get another gc.

I just purchased and will be installing the ones I purchased from Amazon. They are high quality rebuilds from what I can see. Not a fan of the red but it's painted on there good! 130.00 prime shipping and no core charge to worry about.
