'14 or '15 Limited with Trail Hood pics?

Why even get Limited to mode it like this??? SR5 or Trail with KDSS and put $8k into modes.... done.

I set out to create an Unlimited. I wanted a challenge. Also, most of the stuff I have on the rig were given me ( sponsored?) for free because it is a different build and it exactly what I wanted, a one of a kind.

Feel free to refute what I said with an educated comment, instead of slinging a bunch of ad hominems.

There's a reason why the TRD Pro, Jeep Rubicon, and the Raptor, probably three of the most, if the not *the most* off road capable vehicles on the road right now, come with 17" wheels instead of 20" wheels. I'll leave you to figure out why that is, since you've clearly got this all figured out already.

Wouldn't the taller sidewall of a 17 provide a longer footprint when aired down ? I would consider that being optimal for off road use.

Yes, this is the obvious reason to have 17" rims and tall sidewalls.
Plus, with the 20" wheel aired down the rim is much closer to the road. You risk pinch flats and bent or dinged rims.

20" wheels have been made popular by sports cars where it provides a hard or firm tire, possibly less weight and therefore faster acceleration and braking and faster cornering. These aren't attributes you need off-road. :blah:

Damn, if only Toyota would offer color matched grilles the Limited front fascia wouldn't stand out so much. I think the scoop looks good though and to be honest its not that much different than the TE except for the chrome.

Its really not bad at all. Its certainly busy with the scoop and grill, but the 14/15 Trail grille is also busy-ish with the fish gills. Not quite my flavor, but I think it will look better and be appreciated more once its really done. Cool idea.

And for the record, I like what [MENTION=106242]Miguelon[/MENTION] has done with the Limited. Excuse me, "UnLimited". Its something different than the thousands of Trails and SR5s. Props for taking a different road and making a truck that is both cush and comfy as well as trail capable. It looks like its doing just fine.

I REALLY want a TRD Pro 4Runner with Limited full time 4WD in Lime Green.

Plus you can't see out of the FJ Cruiser and the TO bearing explodes and kills your dog.
