Came up with so many smart :llama: comments reading this... my eco mode works... Its all about the eco. A lady in a prius tried to make me feel bad about driving a big ugly gas guzzler. I showed her the eco mode. She was impressed. :scared:

Thanks for the response. I had a 2012 Limited and i knew you could turn that off. I couldn't find the option to disable it on my 2014 sr5.

If memory serves me correctly you are able to turn the light off the 14's through the menu setting display but TIS Techstream was required to turn the "eco bar" off........someone feel free to correct me if this is wrong.
Speaking of ECO: I saw a parking space near a store entrance that was reserved for hybrids/electric vehicles. Now if this had a charging station or outlet I would understand but it seemed to be there solely as a reward for driving a more fuel efficient vehicle to get a spot closer to the entrance..................seemed backassward to me as now myself driving the "guzzler" has to park further out, hence driving more distance, killing the earth.
I normally park in the boniness anyhow but it did make me consider swapping my Toyota badge with one of the hybrid toyota badges that has a blue hue/glow and parking in that spot.

They have a bunch of those spots in he parking lot of a new movie theatre nearby. It's rubbish of course. It's not legally binding or enforceable. I just ignored it and put my tundra in 2 spots.
