$1400 for a new computer...

...and ignition module. I didn't even know these things had computers. Apparently from water damage. Anyone have similar problems?

Even the earliest EFI engines had to have some kind of ECM to control it, and the trans if auto trans.

Lot of money, and I'd bet used at that.

It was $600 for the parts, the rest was labor. If I'd known what the problem was in the first place, I could have replaced it myself.
