Just my $0.02, why not keep the 15 post rule but allow users to post a picture of their 4runner with a timestamp? Once they do they're allowed post, 15 posts already made or not. That'd prove they're actually real people...

Doubt this forum platform has the capability to allow that programatically. Would require hands on moderation which sounds like a bandwidth issue.

I wonder how many new members sign up in any given day though? I'll check a few pics in some thread to validate they're real people Sure it's not automated but it's easier than asking people to spam 15 posts.

Click "User CP" up in the top menu, which will take you to https://www.toyota-4runner.org/usercp.php

On the left hand menu, halfway down or so, will be two options edit your avatar and signature!

I can appreciate the concept, but 15 does feel a bit high. But then again, I've never really been much of a forum guy, so I'm new to this still!

I used to be very active on a few forums, then I realized I had little original to say and became a lurker. Looks like that's still the case for me; I'm trying to change that.
