Yeah, I was surprised, the Wet Okoles do add a surprising amount of comfiness. I'm glad too because i was really missing my 3rd Gen's comfy seats.
Husband just had back surgery and thinks the seat covers make a nice difference. Of course they might compress after a while of us sitting on 'em

K&Ns are usually right around 50 bucks and your local auto shops might have it in stock but they last a long time when cleaned and re-oiled properly so used might not be a bad option

Window tint is a good idea. The front windows plus the brow should cost no more than $90.

The fronts should only be $70 max.

Those prices seem reasonable and what I'd expect to pay. However, since only 1 out of 3 shops locally is even willing to touch 20% on the front windows, that doesn't leave me any other options. The one shop that will do it wants $100, and it's not worth the 20-30 mile drive to the next closest shop to (possibly) save $15. Anyhow, looks like $100 it is if I go that route.

nice 20% mathced mine perfect and for the sun visor id go 10% keeps the sun out of ur eyes.. the shop wanted 30 for mine so i said no but i wish i had it for when i forget my shades

JAC, this is almost the same question u posted awhile back, & u gave one of the same answers u got, ha, ha, it is a good one though, so i second the weathertec floor liners, theyre great.

Yeah...u are right...and I went with the weathertech front liners got a good deal $99 including shipping...still need the rear tho'...been concentrating on the outside look lately...lol. ...tinted my taillights and front windows , removed the running boards ..now working on installing the tube steps.

I think the owner of the thread should go with some floor liners...I don't even need to vaccum the front . I am really happy with them. But I think tinting the windows is a good option also as long as there is no visibility issues.

Floor liners are at the top of my list, right there with tint. I just am having trouble seeing $100 worth of benefit from them. The best place I've found so far is directly from weathertech. I've searched the forums and came up with a number of so called "cheaper" sites, but currently they aren't any better than buying direct. On the tint, there shouldn't be any visibility issues. On the brow, I'm not going over 5 inches for sure, and it will be dark (not sure what %, but probably around the 10% mentioned). The guy wants $80 for the front two windows, then an extra $20 for the brow. I guess I'm more of a visual person, I can deal with vacuuming but tint would really make my 4runner look better (IMO) which is kinda why I'm leaning that way. However, on the flip side my windows not being tinted has never cost my any of my time, so there may be a benefit there. Any other opinions? I really appreciate your input, thank you!

but yeah, $150 is not a whole lot of $ for truck parts. the liners will give you most bang for the buck. they seem pricey for what they are but they protect your carpet and look a whole lot nicer than stained, wet, nasty carpet floor mats.
