16s on a sport with spidertraxx? possible?

ive got a 05 4runner sport with larger front brakes.
i am already running spidertraxx 1.25 spacers all the way round
really want 16. ive read tacomas grind the calipers a bit to fit smaller wheels..
has anyone done this to a 4runner to fit 16s on a sport?
I would grind down the caliper a bit to fit 16..
im not sure where it would rub. on the outside face looking at it from side or on the corners of the caliper touching the inside wheel part of the rim?

i searched for an answer but could not find it.

I don't have an answer for you on the 16s Dan.
But I am wondering if you are running stock tires and wheels with the Spidertraxx and if you are getting any rubbing?

well no and yes..
really no..
just the front driver side the mud flap must have come out of the mold a little warped.. cause i did rub at full clock on the front left only. i tried melting it a bit and reshaping but ended up ruining it..so i just took it off..
so no rubbing now..
runs awesome and no vibration or pulsing.
gotta do the haweka adapter wheel balancing and line up the yellow dot on the tire with the valve stem..

Just to confirm, you are running the 17" stock wheels and stock 265/65 tires right? Just want to be sure.
