17" x 7.5" Wheels -vs- 17" x 9" Wheels

Can you tell me what you are looking at in the 17"x8" that you like?

Of the two below, I'd most likely choose the M19 wheels since I like them a LOT, but I just don't know if the stock TPMS will be compatible with them. I'll have to find out somehow bc I don't want to have to spend more money on new TPMS modules.

Yup - there is a limited owner with these wheels that I remember seeing somewhere, but I can't remember his name...

I have a question regarding wheel sizes too. Of course I only like the 17x9 styles as well. As a general rule of thumb, is it safe to assume that the larger the backspacing 4.5 vs. 4.75 the more the wheel will be pushed into the wheel well?

That being asked, is it safe to assume that the lower the offset, the more it will stick out of the wheel well? Also, does anyone know the stock offset of our wheels?

17x9 ATX Artillery
-12 MM Offset
4.52" Backspacing

17x9 Pro Comp Series 7032
-6 MM Offset
4.75" Backspacing

Yes, with the same backspacing of 4.5 inches ,they will stick out 1.5 inches from where you are now and they will be past the wheel flares about an inch. My rims are 17x8 with 4.5 inch backspacing. The fit is perfect and the tires are exactly even with the wheel well flares.

Imagine if they were 9 inches wide. They would stick out an extra inch on each side.

If they were 9 inches wide, wouldn't they stick out 1/2" extra on each side? The extra inch would equal 1/2" on each side, no?
