I don't get the advantage. He says it gets 24 mpg highway. My '00 consistently gets 22mpg. It seems like a lot of trouble to swap an engine for 2 -4 mpg not to mention diesel costs more.

Thanks for finding that Hearno. You gotta respect a man who gets $18k for a 15 year old vehicle. Any mockery you think he deserves is silenced when that check clears. It is pretty funny stuff though.

Yeah, you can give him props from a salesman standpoint, but you can also give him more props from a douchebaggery standpoint.

i also seen a price on a yota that i thought was insanely high the other day, some dude wanted just under $11,000 for an 88 Toyota camper the craziest thing of it was that it sold in like a week. so maybe i don't know anything when it comes to price...

Haha I can totally sympathize if this was the case. I did that with my 1st gen, the high price kept the potential buyers away.
