1984 Wine Red (AKA Brown)

New guy here, with the only picture I ever took of my 1984 wine red SR5. Unfortunately sold it about 20 years ago in South Dakota, and still regret it. Seems it may have been a rare one, since I never see any online in this color with the stripes. I know it was only offered in 1984.

Of all the modified trucks here, any start off in this color? Anyone ever see one still this color?

There's a thread on yotatech that showed how many of each color there are registered by state. I couldn't find it, but if you spend a few minutes, you might be able to pull it up.

I had one as a parts truck that was originally that color, but it had been painted over.

I agree. That's a sharp looking 4runner.

my '87 is that colour but with a cream coloured top. Don't see too many this colour on any of the boards.
I will try to attach a pic tonight when I get home.

I found that thread, but did not see the break out by color. Supposedly, this color code is 379 on one chart and 3B2 on another.
