A little history on my 4runner.
When I bought it it was leaking coolant in between cylinder 3 and 4 into the exhaust.
Took head off and had it gone through and checked out. Got it back and installed it with new head bolts and OEM Toyota headgasket along with all new intake gaskets that were needed.
It runs great down the road and idles perfect. No overheating no weird issues except... I noticed it was using some oil.
It has an oil leak at the front seal/oil pump and what looks like a slight oil leak at rear main seal. And a little coolant leaking from water pump. Nothing really bad or enough to think that it's what's causing the oil loss...
I noticed today after getting home from work that I have oil in my coolant overflow reservoir... And almost to me smells of exhaust in the overflow reservoir...
HG? Timing chain cover or Oil pump cover seal?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Gary
