1991 4cyl... was auto avail? or 5spd only?

I have found reviews that say the i4 was only paired with the 5spd standard shift transmission.
Is this true for everywhere, or just the states??

The reason I ask, a dealer a good deal away from me has one that was traded in and is selling for $2000 as traded. 4x4 that appears to be in good condition. They have it listed as auto. 4cyl.

This is confusing...
