1995 limited 3.0L SR5 need picture ASAP of heating connections

hi guys i have a 1995 limited SR5 im working on and about to do a rad job. the issue i have is for what i think are heating lines for the rear with coolant in them. they are the two lines that come across the back side of the firewall to the driverside and down. then run along underneath the driverside and back up into around the rear seat area. the connection point. PICTURES and info i need is where the lines come up from the bottom and get connected near the firewall and engine area on top. also do i need a special coolant or regular prestone green good enough? thanks

Cant help you on the rear heater lines, but you should run the toyota red coolant for best cooling and HG life.

That being said...I run just normal green stuff and havent had any problems.

This page has multiple schematics for the heater lines. Find the one that looks closest to your own.

Green coolant is fine.

In all honesty, the rear heater will work with it hooked up either way. The rear heater core doesn't have to flow a certain way. Hook it up and run it.

They connect to the 2 rusty fittings in the picture.

is it just a quick swap of some hoses or am i missing something?

swap the 2 hose ends closest to the top red arrow. Check for leaks, it may have been by-passed for a reason.

Thanks Gonovr you've been a huge help i wanted to do this tomorrow. the left goes to the top right and the top right to the bottom left it looks like and looks like ill be able to get this done. anything special i need to know about this system? new rad, hoses, thermostat, gasket. fixing the rear heater lines. gonna use the green coolant.

gonna be putting new front and rear bumpers. working on the back door lock and glass. lots of projects

Looks like you will need 2 more hose clamps. The looped section doesn't seem to have any.

Just so i'm clear, just interchange the hose ends. Neither hose should be completely removed. It should say swap hose ends instead of swap lines.
