1996 suspension questions?

Alright guys I have a 1996 auto 4runner. Currently have a bilstine/ome 3inch lift. Planning on supercharging it and adding a solid axle swap. But I don't want leaf sprung front, I want 3 or 4 link in front and longer travel rear. Are there any kits available for this model rig? I'm new to the custom suspension part of off-roading so I don't know what kind of axles or anything. Any advice you could give or links to kits would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

Odds are that if you don't even know anything about axles, then you should wait before you decide that you must have a solid front axle and will actually utilize it. If you are on the road the majority of the time then you are better off with IFS. Once you cut out that IFS, there is no going back unless you get a new frame. If you mess up then you are left with a hacked up truck that performs like crap.

I am buying a Subaru sti for daily driving, that's why I'm doing such big changes to the runner. I off-road every weekend in my runner and need larger lift and tires to keep up with the highly modified jeeps here in Alaska, and I know exactly what I'm getting myself into, I was just curious of anyone had a pre planned out kit I could buy so I wasn't buying parts I don't need or missing parts I do need. Sense I have never done a 3 link front kit before. But I have found one thanks to Facebook, with everything needed except axle, drive shaft, and gears, but I was already planning to jump those up due to 39s going on the runner.

There are no link "kits". The closest you could get to one would be a 4wheelunderground tacoma kit. You're not going to 4-link the front of a 4runner either. You are going to have to do a ton of modification to get it right as well as get your upper link in the right spot. If I were to do it again, I would go tons and redo the entire front frame and also extend it to stretch the wheelbase especially running 40's. We added 12" to the frame to get everything forward enough. Also redo your motor mounts. There's sooooo much more. But if you can do it, do it, it's great!
