1999 limited front shocks

1998 limited front shocks

Can someone post a picture of the 1998 Limited front shocks with the springs removed ? I bought a set of the billstiens off Amazon.com , and looks like there is not enough of a "lip" to support the bottom spring perch. There is a small lip that looks to be the right location for the bottom part of the spring support but it only sticks out about a .032 of an inch which doesn't seem near enough to support the spring. Ounce I get the old ones out and off I won't have any transportation to get new ones if mine aren't the right ones. Thanks in advance !!!

There are several videos on youtube for front shock/strut which may help with pictures of the original. Also if you can post pictures and part numbers of what you bought - it would generate some replies

Not exactly the same but here is a picture of mine from when I did the brakes. It's a 2001 SR5 and the shocks at that time were some Monroe replacements. Hopefully this will give an idea of the lip
