OK I bought a 1st gen recently and have been cleaning her up before I post pics and specs. One of the problems the truck had when I bought it was a sagging drivers side door. Basically I had to lift it a little whenever I close it. Not a huge deal but a nuisance. The guy I bought it from included new hinges he never got around to putting on. An LH upper and LH lower. When I started I noticed the door already looked to have a style of quick hinges on them where I could remove the door without tools. I put the new hinges on which was a pain in the ass to do (without removing the front fender) and my luck, the door won't close now and rubs on the front fender A LOT. So I took them off and put the stock ones back and and now those won't work right either. The upper LH is scribed with #T1 and the lower LH T3. Why does this seem so difficult? Can someone upload a factory OEM hinge from a 1st gen 4runner so I can confirm my thoughts?

OR get some ratchet wrenches!!!!! omg! they are a savior! best investment ive made in a long time.... trust me.... hahaha

like some one said the holes are wider for adjustment, what I did when I changed mine, was to stick a folded hand tower under the door and slam it shut then tighten the bolts on the hinges as it's being pushed up wards by the thikness of the towel and you do have to take off the fender.
