2.2 inch pulley Help!!!

Yeah I would recommend loading the stock map. Email me p.mccole@yahoo and I'll send you mine. Then see how things do. I am pretty sure your truck is running decent. Then look into getting a afr gauge and boost gauge. Then play with things there.

Have you looked into my 7th injector tuning page on here? Look it up

Oh no I haven't I'll check that tuning page out! So, looks as though the 7th injector may not be firing at all.

Last night my cousin and I checked my intake for air leaks by pressurizing it—that was all good.

Then we hooked up a voltmeter to one of the stock injectors and turned on the car, read the voltage, then put it back and did the same with the 7th injector. There was no voltage on the 7th even when revving the engine up to about 4500 rpm in park. Seems like it may not be working. :(

you wont get high enough while its in park. you need to drive it.

like shoots said it wont fire without a load and the bypass on the super will bleed off the boost when sitting.

Well, I guess I know that the box has power at least because the blue tick does jump around while floored, but I'm just curious if it's firing at all. I know the box says it is, but maybe there's a connection issue of some kind? Is it possible for the unit to say it's firing but in reality it's not?

It just seems odd that at 3500 when it should be kicking in the AFR is terrible. To my understanding, the URD kit doesn't activate till 3000 or 3500 rpm right?

Also how can I tell besides visually if the belt is slipping?

Thanks for the help btw. I'm driving about an hour south tonight to my cousin's shop and he's going to help me diagnose it so this info you're giving me is very helpful.

I'm also attaching the dyno results just in case that helps. One is the normal printout and the other is the same results just with the AFR larger.

Without a chart of load from the map sensor there is really no way to tell what is going on here. You should get a AFR gauge and boost gauge, but also figure out how to log with the URD box and go do a few road pulls. Do you know if he was at WOT the entire time? I agree with shoots It is way too rich at 3600 rpm in that last picture.

Also how are they taking that afr? It is out of the tailpipe those numbers are not correct. It would need to be taken pre-cat.

Ahhh good to know—I had a feeling we weren't doing it quite right.

Sorry for the delay, still on the job hunt up here and also had some stuff going on at my house.

I'll look into the boost and AFR gauges—the guy at the Dyno shop actually recommended those as well, but I wanted to get another opinion first.

Gadget said there's a shop in Santa Ana that can check out my 7th Injector, so I drove down to SoCal this week and will be here till about Friday, but so far he hasn't set up the appointment and won't release the name or location of the shop to me. :redbrick: Pretty strange, but not much I can do about that.

Hopefully I can get fast shipping on the gauges and get those going by the end of the week or early next week.

Thanks again on for all the replies, I'll keep you all updated and get all this gear going. Gonna pin this thing down. :thumb3:
