2 many broke runners build

I finally got the front square drive shaft done. Got the rear shock mounts fabbed up.


Decided to change the location slightly and cut some more



Found some free 33s for street driving


Also found that the steering rod hits the frame a bit



Got the shocks tacked in place so had to test the suspension some moar





Still mocking up the front shocks but here's some more pics







 
Looking good! Plan to notch the frame or just set the bump stops right before it?

Hows the clearance under the pitman arm on full stuff?
 
I was very negative arched on the springs so probably just bump stop before. Also only happens when turned to the right.

Have plenty of room on pitman arm to spring when flexed the other side.

But haven't been stuffing the left side cause my front drive shaft cv rubs my welds on the square tube.

Also got the holes drilled in my custom gussets

Started patching up one of the holes in my cab.














Found some rust under the battery






Not very happy with my sheet metal skills. Have a big brake and smaller brake/shear/roller unit but I suck at welding this thin stuff to the thin body metal.
 
Made a battery tray and hold down for the yellow top.

Had to tune my bumpstops a bit, so I built done landing pads for them.



No rear bumper or sliders but had a mo4wd club meet: stocker no locker so I attend with me locked on 37s not stock rig

Got some go pro stuff I need to go through as well

First time out went well no breakage but had a newbie with me as passenger and buddy behind me witha jeep. Hate the square drive shaft but was cheap!!
 
Started driving on the road a little noticed some very bad wandering with the offset wheels. Found a set of fj cruiser wheels and worn tires for a decent price.


These improved the wandering to almost factory worn out steering.
I sent a cv drive shaft to davez offroad for a custom rear unit. Still waiting to get it back

Also sold my dd(94 toy p/u). Bought a set of dick cepek mud country's.




 
Started getting a bit breezy this winter, decided I didn't want to weld the sheet metal. So I started building some 'storage'.

My buddy was making fun of me and asked when I was getting a ladder and roof rack. Lol

Haven't figured out the filler neck yet. Thinking of a hinged door???

The front cubby is hinged as well small amount of storage and covers all my holes.


 
Also got my rear driveline today from davez offroad, also got the triple drilled t case flange.


Next to my very wobbly, very beefy current rear.


Now I have very smooth hi speeds just a little vibe at slow down or decel. Need to point the pinion up a bit.

It was new years day I got about 2 hours sleep, got lazy in a creek bank. LF got on the bank and i couldnt turn since Im locked in the front.
I need to get the hydro assist installed.

I got the tire repaired but i wont use it on the street.


So im going to buy a fifth tire and have a matching spare.
