2003 4runner won't start

Hello!
New to the board, and I have a question? We have a 03 runner sr5 with the v8.104000 miles. Went out tonight to move it and it rolled over well but did not start. Tried about 4 times, no go. It has been sitting for about a week. No prior problems whatsoever. Could it be a fuel pump? Or what?

If the engine rotates, but will not start, some possible things to check are:

Fuel - is there enough? If there is, could be that fuel is not reaching the fuel injectors. Check for a clogged fuel filter or lines, or possibly a defective fuel pump.

How has the weather been where you are? If it is has been getting cold at night and your gas tank is low, you may have some condensation/water in your fuel.

Battery - if your T4R has been sitting for a week, the battery may be discharged. The battery terminal connections could also be loose or corroded.

I'd look at these two issues first - fuel and battery.

:iagree: 100% Even if it sounds like it's cranking ok try jumping it. Slightly low voltage may crank it but confuse the fuel system/ECM.

Tried it just now, I don't "hear" the fuel pump turning on when I turn the key. I am assuming its the fuel pump. Had the same thing happen to a van about two years ago, starts great one time, the next time it's no-go. What should a guy expect to pay for a fuel pump and install?
