2003 rear window issues?

Wife's 2003 rear window wiper and rear glass up / down has stopper working.
One of the gas shocks gave out and the hatch bound up. The shock was replaced with no visible damage.
Now the glass stopped working and last week the rear wiper no longer works.
Any ideas what to look for?

Make sure that its fully seated closed.

Otherwise, you may need to "normalize" the rear window again

There is no sticker in this 4-Runner about changing out the battery.
