2005 Flasher relay location and how to change the front indicators and fogs?

the flasher relay is behind the inside fuse box, u have to take the fuse box out with couple of 10mm bolts, then the relay is behind it.
The fuse box you're referring to is in the left footwell side of the drivers side?

Got another question for you - do you know if there is a hole under the drivers seat going outside for running wire through ? I want to do a lighting mod under the running boards to come on like the dome light when the doors are unlocked. My truck does not have the lights in the running boards itself, so I can't tap into wiring there
So it warmed up a bit and I pulled my dash apart and got to the flasher relay and realized I bought the wrong one as a replacement.
The stock OEM flasher relay is a 12 pin unit. I had an 8 pin unit, so I had to abort.
I quickly checked ebay and can't find an equivalent 12 pin LED flasher relay. What relays have you guys used to replace the stock one?
The stock one is 81980-35020 066500-5570
Here is a pic of the OEM one and then a comparison between the 8 pin and my stock one.

Hey SilverG's, I'm reviving this thing to see if you ever came up with a resolution regarding this? I'm going through this myself currently. Bought the old Tridon EP35 relay to start and realized that it was a fix for the 3rd gen. Now I'm coming across the 8-pin that you're showing above, and it clearly doesn't look like it'll plug with the harness.
So what now? In-line resistors?

If you ever get it going, I'd love to do the same with mine. I'm at the point where I want to go back to regular bulbs.

What is it, a replacement relay? I'd be interested cause the resistors didn't work for me.
