2007 Crashed + Totaled

Well, a few weeks ago, the beautiful 2007 shadow gray mica (with extra metal flake! <apparently>) paint, 4WD, V8, Sport Edition, 107,000 miles, loaded and flawless, became airborne Dukes of Hazzard style when a 16 year old girl driving thru our neighborhood without her parent(s) on a Learner's Permit :wtf:....

...made her dad's Honda Civic into a ramp for me. Both cars were totaled, my sweet sweet 4Runner was flipped upside down and CRASH LANDED!. I got out with just a few cuts and bruises. Didn't have gap insurance so got stung $$, plus have to go to court. Fortunately she was not seriously hurt but was taken away in ambulance with cut on arm. I refused treatment and just picked the glass out of my hand / face etc. Side airbags worked great, seat belt was awesome, and structure of the cab held well enough to let me keep my head.

That said, now I'm back looking for another 2005-2007 4Runner. DAMN IT IS HARD TO FIND A NICE ONE !!!!!! (The newer ones are too expensive and I think ugly). For now, been back to driving my Durango and motorcycles. The story is worse than that of course, but I'll spare you the aggravating details. So... point is... drive safe, and also know that the 4Runner is a strong SUV. Just try to avoid flipping it if you can.
