True, but it's not like the Giants were playing their best game, that's for sure. Any team can have a good/bad game on any given Sunday (or any other day!)

If the Patriots have a bad day (or maybe even just Brady) and the Manning and the Giants have a good day, I really doubt the Patriots will win. We'll see though....

Also, it was a good close game and I liked it when the FOX robot got his butt kicked by the terminator. I was a great game.
 
I had no preference as to which of the 2 teams won, but I have to admit that I thought the Patriots would win. The 4th quarter was great, but it wasn't a very good super bowl. The first 3 quarters was just a stand off, with basically nothing happening leaving the score at 7-3.

Also, I found the commercials this year to be pretty bland. A few were funny, but most of them weren't "super bowl material" that most people look forward to every year.

Congrats to the 2nd Manning brother for winning the super bowl 1 year after his brother. Wasn't he going to retire this year too? Good thing he didn't.
 
Sure it was a slow game, but at least it was close. As far as commericals go, I like the screaming squirrel for Bridgestone during the 1st quarter. Not that I would buy there tire, but it was cute. Also, this is the first time I can remember a political during the game.

Haha yeah I found that one really funny, probably the only one that made me laugh out loud. I would never buy their tires, but great commercial.
 
I also liked the Audi commercial where the guy wakes up and finds a grille in his bed....

By the way, it was a great game. Was glad to see the Giants win -- the Patriots are good, by the Spygate incident really ruined their integrity as far as I'm concerned.

I never said the word boring though. Just that it wasn't very good compared to previous super bowls, other than the fact that there was a HUGE upset in the end.

And no, I don't watch soccer. Somehow watching HOURS of people running back and forth to end up with a game winning score of 1-0 is a bit absurd to me.

But then again, I like tennis since I played for a few years when I was in Highschool and was MVP and things like that, and tennis definitely isn't everyones ideal sport to watch. Everyone has their own take on sports.

I'm more into watching sports that I play. Football, tennis, snowboarding, all of the winter X-Games, etc...
 
Congrats to the NY Giants! I can't believe anyone would think this was a boring Superbowl.... It wasn't a high scoring game, but it was anybody's game for the entire time. And the fact that the lead changed a few times made it exciting as well. Any true fan of the game would see this game as exciting.

That and i was disappointed Belichick didn't even stay until it was over. Walked down to the tunnel right after they failed on that 4th down. I don't care if you lost the superbowl, stay until the end and have some sportsmanship.

I thought the game was pretty good to watch , I enjoyed it , especially when it comes down to do or die time ..... Congrats to the Giants , glad they pulled it out.
 
I have been a Giants fan forever and what a night! I never screamed so loud during any sporting event. Words can't describe how happy I am! Beating the Patriots is even a better feeling for Giant fans!

While the players deserve credit, Steve Spagnola is a genius. The defense had an answer for almost every play the Patriots ran. I haven't seen Brady take so many hits all season long. He really did his homework.

As for the superbowl, I was on the edge of my seat the entire tim. I really enjoyed the strong defense through 3.5 quarters and the ending was excellent. The commercials were alright. I really liked the e-trade and bud light ones. The amp energy commercial was really funny where the guy used jumper cables in a very interesting way.

I liked it too, especially his facial expression. He looks really into it.
 
Yeah I remember that one. I guess you would have to be into it for you to enjoy jumper cables on your nipples. But then again it might not hurt as much if you had man boobs (b*tch t*ts) like he does lol.

But if you notice, it's like he uses the amp/nipples method to jump people regularly, because there is an open flap in his jump suit on his chest, much like the back door on one piece pajamas for convenient bathroom use.
 
I think thats "Donkey Lips" from Salute Your Shorts on Nickelodeon from back in the day (dont know if you younger guys will remember that show, no offense). Great game though...much better than I thought it would be.
 
I don't think Brady was hit that much ALL season.

I don't really care about the cheating crap since all teams have done some sort of snooping/cheating and I doubt any of you would want your teams to be investigated since every one of them has dirty laundry. Look how many teams in the '90s circumvented the salary cap to keep players including my Broncos and that is considered cheating but with the Patriots they got caught.


I'd just like to think the Giants beat a great team and will be considered one of the biggest upsets in SB history just like when my Broncos beat GB in SB 31 which they were 16 point underdogs but IMO ther Giants upset was just a tad bigger.
 
Im glad the giants won, im still trying to figure out how Eli escaped that sack in the 4th and completed that pass. That was an exciting play. The Pats finally got what they deserved (im still a little bitter about the SB 36 when the Pats beat the Rams) especially with the new cheating rumors going around. Good job Giants!!! I enjoyed the head bobbing Diet pepsi Max commercial.
