That does not make sense.

The O/R package I've been looking at on the Tacoma has nice features . ATRAC on/off , VSC on/off , Locking rear diff. DAC/HAC . Be nice if all that was on the 4R TE.

I believe they meant to say "The downhill assist control (DAC) indicator light has been discontinued" which is true.

Finally saw a Trail Edition on the Road today. It looked amazing! The ones i saw in the catalog did not have the front hood scoop but this guys did have it so i guess its an option. Anyway, it looked good.

I don't think that the hood scoop is an option since the TE is based on the SR5...he probably got it from the junk yard.

After Market Front & Rear Lockers

If you are looking for Front and/or Rear locking rear differentials go to ARB. They offer air lockers for most 4runners.

One note: the 16" rims comes with 265/70/16 tires. This is stock size (31"). Apparently, i guess Toyota knows that putting 265/75/16 (32") would increase the chance of rubbing (esp. if they put on BFG AT KO, as they do in FJ Trail Team Edition). In addition, 32" may not fit in the spare tire location.

My 255/75/R17 BFG MT (32") on stock 17" rim fits in the spare location just fine. Very very close but it does fit without touching anything its not supposed to.
